An individual suffering from anxiety may need more than what they can obtain from food. To treat anxiety, it may be necessary for an individual to take up to 100 milligrams of a B-complex vitamin. People diagnosed with chronic forms of anxiety may require higher doses of B-complex vitamins. B-complex vitamins are generally safe, but may not be appropriate for everyone.
