Adsense Content Sites: Lock in Your Long Term Adsense Wealth.
The second major method of making money from Google Adsense is the now popular VRE (Virtual Real Estate) method. The goal of this method is to make a great content site in a niche market that people will actually like to visit because it has interesting content. These sites are usually for the most part more hand made and rely on content like articles and rss/news feeds with Adsense scattered through to make their revenue.
These sites can take longer to get listed and longer to start making money (depending on your marketing) but will be around for longer, and will almost never be delisted from the SE’s. The way these sites make good money is by getting a lot of traffic over time, whereas in method one your trying to make a lot of little sites with smaller amounts of traffic.
The benefits of this method are that you are building long term wealth. As these sites grow and age with time their rankings will be improved (provided they are maintained well by you) they will get more traffic and bring more revenue. And you will never have to worry about them getting yanked from the SE’s.
Another benefit is that less people at the moment are willing to make sites like this because they take a bit more work and aren’t the easy way out. So, if you can capitalize on this method now, you will be way ahead in the future when everyone making sites solely with the Automation method goes broke because that method becomes obsolete.
Cons of this method are that it is generally more expensive to setup a VRE site and it takes more time. However this is compensated by the fact that the site will stay around longer and hence have longer to pay itself off. It also takes a little more internet know how because these sites have to be marketed well. Nothing too tricky but certainly requiring more effort than with the Automation Method.
The last note is that you can actually profit from pre made VRE sites VERY RARELY. I definitely don’t advise you to go out and buy almost any pre made Adsense sites but there are a few exceptions and you might be able to pick up through this report, the criteria for purchasing a decent one that will be worth your investment.
Basically content sites are a good way to ensure some long term profits before automated site making folk have forseen the true future of the adsense program and responded appropriately.
